Nicole Dunn

Creative Television Producer with experience in reality TV, makeovers, comedy and music television. She combines creative instincts with developing successful projects around talent. In 2008 she had two package deals; "The Devil's Workshop," with Christopher Titus and another with Expert Eli Davidson. She produced a series that was nominated for a Daytime Emmy called "Split Ends." She was also featured on the cover of Kiplinger's Personal Finance in October 2008. She is a Media Consultant for Studios, Production Companies, Authors, Experts & Professionals for creative pitches, flushing and developing concepts and brands.


Russell Bishop

Currently Editor-at-Large for the Huffington Post, Russell is also founder of Bishop & Bishop, a consulting and coaching company, author of numerous articles on the power of choice and awareness, and has two books in development.

An expert in personal and organization transformation, Russell has coached leadership teams, entrepreneurs, and CEO's in 34 countries around the world.

He has lectured for executive MBA programs at UCLA, University of Texas and Washington University.

Russell received a Master's degree in Educational Psychology from the University of California and currently resides in Santa Barbara, California.

Charles Crumpley

Charles Crumpley has been editor of the Los Angeles Business Journal since January 2006. As such, he oversees news coverage, writes a weekly opinion column and compiles the Page 3 column, which is about L.A.'s business and professional elite.

Crumpley has spent most of his career with daily newspapers. Before joining the Business Journal, Crumpley had been business news editor of the daily paper in New Orleans, The Times-Picayune, for three years.

He was born in Kansas City, MO, and spent much of his early career at The Kansas City Star. He was senior financial writer there, and he covered many of the city's biggest stories, such as the long-running financial problems of the Kansas City Royals baseball team.

He has won four national journalism awards, including the National Press Club's top award for consumer journalism. Crumpley and his family lived for a year in Tokyo when Crumpley was a Fulbright scholar.


Nelson Davis

Nelson Davis was born in Andalusia, Alabama and grew up in Niagara Falls, New York. From the age of fourteen, his burning desire was to get into broadcasting and someday own a business.

Prior to arriving in Los Angeles, Nelson founded a chain of submarine sandwich stores in eastern Canada. Joining the NBC Television Network in 1980, Mr. Davis held several jobs, including being the censor for The Tonight Show and Director of Daytime Programming. Simultaneously, Nelson was a partner at Pioneer Aviation, a flight training school in Van Nuys.

He began Nelson Davis Television Productions with the idea of producing special television programming targeted for niche audiences. His first weekly series was "MAKING IT! Minority Success Stories", a small business show which profiles entrepreneurs, The program has been on the air since March 1989 and has received over thirty awards & citations from all levels of government and business organizations, including four Emmys as Best Public Affairs series.

Having presided over the taping of 1000 entrepreneurs' stories for the television program, Nelson has become an advocate and expert on the world of small businesses. He has spoken to many groups on the subject of "What I've learned from a thousand entrepreneurs," Secrets of Success, and the importance of economic empowerment. His views on small business have been featured in Newsweek magazine, Business Week and the Los Angeles Times among other publications.

Nelson is committed to combining his knowledge of media and marketing to promote the entrepreneurial spirit and has recently formed The Making It Institute for the Advancement of Business. He serves on the board of Pacific Coast Regional, a small business lending organization as well as the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation board.


Jesse Gift
Producer/Director/Editor/Broadcast PR Consultant

First and foremost, Jesse Gift is a storyteller. He is known in the television network news and entertainment news business for creating compelling broadcast product each and everyday, both as a segment producer and editor.

His career emphasis has been in television news, news magazine and entertainment news magazine shows at the network and national level, including prime time and prime access shows (Recipient of 1998 Prime Time Emmy Award for Breaking News -Dateline NBC -"L.A Heat", Plus other national and international awards).

Jesse currently provides public relations consulting, creative services, and television/video production services for a variety of clients.

Farrell Hirsch
Playboy Radio

Farrell started his career writing TV sitcoms, moved into the Broadway stage where he wrote plays that graced the stages of Lincoln Center in NY, The National Theatre of Sweden, and other venues from London, Toronto, and Johannesburg to Sydney. As a theatre producer he brought over 100 shows to the boards and was proud to spend seven years as one of the creators and producers of the Ovation Awards -- LA's answer to the TONYs. Since 2002 he's been running programming and production for staellite radio stations for both XM and Sirius. Currently he runs west coast programming for Sirius, which includes, most famously, Playboy Radio and is responsible for booking more than 1000 guests per year. Other interesting talking points include his three years with the "hockey ops department" of the NHL's Anaheim Ducks, six years on the board of Theatre LA (two as VP). But his favorite talking points are his wife Beth and three year old daughter Augusta.

He's made Oprah laugh, amazed millions on television and performs live in front of 50,000 people annually. He's even starred in an award winning "got milk?" commercial. Bruce will emcee the event so get ready to pitch the media and have some fun!

Professional speaker, business coach and author, Eli Davidson, has helped millions of busy executives to 'grab the wheel' of their careers. Her coaching tips reach over 6 million travelers on American, United and Delta airlines; she has appeared regularly on national TV and radio. She is an Award Winning Finalist National Best Book Awards 2007 for her book, Funky to Fabulous; Category Motivational Self Help.

Eli is a self taught, first time writer who financed her book with credit cards.
